While working as Art Director at Ragù Communication, I contributed to the visual refresh of the Serie A brand, helping develop a flexible graphic system used across digital platforms, broadcast graphics, stadium communication, and social media.
The project focused on creating a cohesive visual framework capable of supporting multiple initiatives throughout the season while maintaining a consistent and recognizable identity.
VISUAL SYSTEM REFRESH
I developed a refreshed visual system inspired by the geometric structure of the Serie A logo.
The design language is based on bold compositions, strong typographic hierarchy, and dynamic graphic elements derived from the shape of the “A”, allowing the identity to adapt across multiple formats and platforms.
The system was developed to maintain clarity and impact across different contexts, from broadcast graphics and digital assets to stadium environments and promotional materials.
MATCHGRAPHICS
I designed the core graphic system used for match-related communications throughout the Serie A season, including fixtures, matchday graphics, and broadcast assets.
The system was developed to be flexible and highly recognizable across different platforms, and was later implemented across multiple formats in collaboration with the creative team.
ON-FIELD AND PHYSICAL BRANDING
On the field, consistency was key. From interview backdrops to player tunnels, from benches to LED boards, every element was aligned with the new visual language. This ensured a uniform look that elevated the matchday environment.
SOCIAL MEDIA VISUAL LANGUAGE
Digital and social platforms were designed as primary touchpoints. A flexible set of visual templates allows the League to produce real-time match content, live updates, and campaigns with speed and consistency, ensuring immediate recognition within fast-moving social feeds.
ADDITIONAL CAMPAIGN PROJECTS
Alongside the core visual system, I contributed to the design of graphics for several seasonal initiatives and campaigns promoted by the league.
These projects included collaborations and awareness campaigns developed during the season, such as special matchday activations and social initiatives.
Each campaign required adapting the visual language of the league while preserving the recognizability of the overall brand identity.
